It’s true- I don’t make a living by sharing with you all here, not with PaperPie, not with Amazon or Teacher Pay Teachers… This is just for pure enjoyment! It’s for connection and community.

BUT I do make an income marketing for other companies. I create logos (whole brand kits, actually) and I currently run social media marketing accounts/campaigns for several companies. I’ve been the voice behind the scenes for realtors, brokerages, non-profits, homesteaders, homeschoolers, MLM’s, companies that are well established and companies just getting started.

From basic graphics to company wide presentations, email/text campaigns and Youtube/TikTok video editing, I have dabbled in all of it. I don’t know how many of you knew that so I thought I’d share what A Swing & A Sway actually does to generate income 🤷‍♀️ If you or a company you know needs help with marketing, I occasionally have openings for new clients. (Right now I have one opening for a full time client or two spots for part time posters. & I’m always open for brand kits)
Now that you know that I’m not trying to swindle you for a dollar, here is my mission/goals/why for the purpose of this community:

Mission Statement

A Swing & A Sway offers a unique educational experience for busy, Christ centered, homeschool families. We are dedicated to creating and sharing quality educational activities and wholesome family experiences. We promise to deliver content you can trust and be here when you need support in any aspect of your life, from marriage to parenting and even self care.

Goal

I want to show our real life & what we are doing together as the amazing family we are. I want to create easy activities for parents to complete in their home so kids get a clean education & better engagement with parents. I also want moms to feel seen, valued and taken care of. I’d like to connect my community in a positive place, grounded in Christ.

Why

I’m often asked why my kids are so well behaved or why my marriage is so good or how it’s possible to fit everything I do into a day. My answer is always, “because God.” I want to share my life with others to show how much having God as the forefront creates a positive outcome for everyone. I want to talk about the good, the bad, the ugly and connect to others through faith.

I want others to be able to easily incorporate what we do in their own homes and encourage families to bond and stay together.

I want to focus on homeschool/Christ centered content, but also marriage and faith that work alongside raising kids and having time to care for myself.
I want to hold myself accountable in my family and my community.
