Why the Digital Space & Coaching Are a Perfect Fit

If you’ve been following along, you know I’ve shared a lot about my journey: why I started A Swing & A Sway, how I approach marketing and even what keeps me motivated when things get tough. But I wanted to pull it all together today and share the real reason I chose the digital space.

🦩 Marketing Was Always My Playground

(I loved the parts that most people hated)

Honestly, I saw so many small businesses struggle in the marketing department and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I loved watching the strategies unfold and seeing ideas come to life. I loved the research, the brainstorming and the “aha” moments when a concept just clicked. I loved digging into the algorithms, designing the graphics and finding the perfect tagline.

But here is the thing: so many people did not love it. They were exhausted from the customer service, the inventory and the daily operations that are a must do kind of necessity. Marketing often got shoved to the back burner. I loved stepping in to fill that gap. I realized early on that marketing is not just posting on social media. It is about understanding a business’s heart and translating that into a message that sticks. That is where I thrive.

🦩 I Saw the Gaps and I Filled Them

Watching these businesses struggle was not frustrating; it was inspiring. I knew that if someone just had the right guidance and a little consistency, they could see real results. That is exactly what I set out to do. I started working with owners to help them make sense of their messaging, find their brand voice and create systems that worked for them instead of against them.

I learned quickly that my joy wasn’t just in building someone else’s marketing. It was in teaching them how to do it. I loved seeing a business owner get that “lightbulb moment” where they finally understand how marketing can work for them instead of feeling like another endless chore. That is why coaching became a natural extension of what I do.

🦩 Coaching Is About Growth, Not Just Metrics

(Building businesses that actually last)

Coaching allows me to take my passion a step further. It is not just about creating graphics. It is about helping people build businesses that are sustainable and that reflect who they truly are. It is about helping them understand their values and make decisions that set them up for long-term success.

I get to guide clients through the messy parts that feel overwhelming. I help them find the focus, map out their goals and create actionable plans. And I get to celebrate with them every time a new strategy works or a milestone is reached. Seeing someone else succeed because of what I helped them build never gets old.

🦩 It Is Personal and It Is Real

What keeps me showing up every day is knowing that the work I do actually matters. It is not about vanity numbers or flashy trends. It is about helping businesses create a foundation for real growth. I take the behind the scenes chaos and turn it into smooth sailing. I am here so you aren’t alone, so you don’t burn out and so your marketing keeps moving even when life gets messy.

I also get to do it in a space that fits my life perfectly. I can work from home, balance the family and keep the chaos at bay. Digital work gives me flexibility, coaching gives me purpose and together they let me live a life that is creative and intentional.

🦩 Final Thoughts

The truth is simple: I love marketing and I love teaching. These things allow me to take my experience and my heart and share it in a way that helps other people succeed. I am not just building businesses or making posts online; I am building confidence and sustainable growth for small businesses.

You do not have to do this alone. You deserve support and someone who is invested in your business just as much as you are.
